Amazing experience working on Mike Clattenburg’s “Afghan Luke”
It seems like a dream when I think back to the challenging 5 months of work on the feature “Afghan Luke and the Burgandy of Hash” now called “Afghan Luke”. A Canadian story, shot by the wonderful Canadian Director Mike Clattenburg and financed with Canadian funds. We shot it in Ashcroft BC and Halifax NS, and it was an amazing journey front to back. Built an Afghan Village, crashed Russian plane, an off base Inflatable MASH style bar etc. Also very, very talented Set Dec work by Gail Luining and Irene Strang (Halifax) and crews. DP Jeremy Benning did a brilliant job and we had a great shoot.
